I’m officially a graduate!!

13718797_10157257635705790_635000853310995099_nSo the last few months have been an absolute whirlwind and I can’t believe I’m now able to say I’m a graduate!! My final semester at Southampton went really well even if it was a bit of a come down from my semester abroad in Australia. Easter break turned into dissertation writing every single day and a permanent hair bun which turned into a massive birds nest (every girl has been there). But it was all worth it as I am so happy to say I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in BSc Population and Geography!! Can’t believe my three year degree is over and my experience of University is over (for now atleast) but whilst I feel very emotional writing this I am also so excited of what the future brings!!

I had my graduation ceremony two weeks ago now and it was such an amazing day! The University of Southampton put on such a beautiful day with a great ceremony and reception too! It was so lovely to be able to celebrate my achievements with all my family and course friends! Also I felt super cool in my graduation gown and hat, even if it was such a hot day that we were all melting!!

Yesterday, I was surprised with some really exciting news that I have been put on the University of Southampton’s Deans list for outstanding achievement!! I didn’t really know much about this before gaining the award but I’m so pleased and it is such a great achievement for myself. Upon applying for University I never thought that I would be now typing these acheivements alongside having the most incredible University experience I had ever imagined!! Go’s to show anything is possible!

Thank you University of Southampton, it’s been a pleasure!
